Recurring events do sync properly with iOS calendar. For example, this event:
<2022-09-22 Thu 15:00 +1d> meeting
will sync to the calendar on 2022-09-22, but not 9-23 or any of the following days.
Recurring events are very common (meetings, birthdays, etc), so I think this feature would be heavily used.
